Responsibilities:

  • Meets production standards set for parts being machined or determines and communicates reasons for not meeting those standards
  • Helps develop final processes and accurately develops cycle time and tool life data
  • Detects and reports faulty machine operation, defective material, equipment, drawing discrepancies, and other unusual conditions to their supervisor and manufacturing support
  • Reads program code and understands the order of operations needed to obtain quality parts
  • Meets production deadlines and manages priorities in addition to key performance objectives

Requirements:
  • 2-3 years machining experience
  • Siemens control experience a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move heavy objects for extended periods of time
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs as needed
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Document production activities, including equipment settings, production counts, and any issues or incidents that occur

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment monitoring
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move heavy objects for extended periods of time
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
